Jordan Walker was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Sherwood Park, on April 16, 2019.
Mr. Walker currently is a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices. He was previously a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities.
Prior to his election as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta Mr. Walker served as a foreign qualification recognition and immigration officer for the government of Alberta. He speaks basic Japanese and spent a year teaching English as a second language in Japan.
Mr. Walker holds both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree.
He and his wife, Shizuko, are residents of Sherwood Park. He enjoys sports, movies, dogs, reading and international relations.
He was the 951st Member to be sworn in to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
