It has been a very busy week in Edmonton as my colleagues and I from across Alberta finished the most recent session of the Legislature with a marathon sitting.

Jackie Lovely was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the Constituency of Camrose, on April 16, 2019.
Ms. Lovely currently serves on advisory committees for Seniors, Justice, and Red Tape Reduction, as well as the North Rural Regional Caucus, Standing Committee on Legislative Offices, Justice and Solicitor General Caucus Advisory Committee, Family and Communities, Select Special Public Health Act Review Committee, and was Appointed Chair for the Minister of Seniors and Housing – Advisory Committee of System Coordination and Navigation Sub-Committee.
Ms. Lovely is engaged in her community. She was an instructor of English as a second language and a member and vice president of the Camrose and Leduc Chambers of Commerce, respectively. She is also a Rotarian.
Ms. Lovely holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan, a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (Saskatchewan Polytechnic) and an MBA from Cape Breton University.
